At the American International Motorcycle (AIMexpo) Yamaha presents a concept motorcycle Yamaha DT-07 Flat Tracker taken from the base Yamaha FZ-07 or MT-07.
Yamaha MT-07 which has a parallel-twin engine has a power that is pretty good for a beginner rider to race scratching the ground, especially in America. The concept is the work of Jeff Palhegyi. The concept of Yamaha DT-07 works of Jeff, using a tire size of 19 and a custom exhaust work of Graves Motorsports, but the front wheel without any brakes.
Yamaha DT-07 has a special color to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Yamaha which is yellow and black. "When the FZ-07 was first introduced, we knew that the machine parallel-twin motorcycle 'Crossplane concept' should be a remarkable low to mid-range torque, which is ideal for the track flat track," commented Keith McCarty, Motorsports Racing Division Manager for Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA.
"At Cypress, we have done some exploration of our own, and DT-07 Concept is the result. FZ-07 is a great bike and also a great platform for customization. We want to see what we can do with a bike as a flat tracker, and we are very pleased with the results. "Said Keith McCarty.
